Most people will agree that education is important to any successful society. However, for a while now there has been growing concern about the state of our schools and education system. In today’s episode we talk to someone close to the issue, an elementary school teacher.
We are joined by Karmen Mullins, a 1st grade teacher in one of the St. Louis area school districts. Karmen was recently awarded teacher of the year. She is a proud graduate of Harris Stowe State University and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

In this episode, we are starting the conversation about what we will call “Jesus Plus” faith meaning --new age and divination practices in the body of Christ. Today, many American adults self-identify as Christians, but many Christians also hold what are sometimes characterized as “New Age” beliefs – including belief in reincarnation, astrology, psychics and the presence of spiritual energy in physical objects like mountains or trees. The TASM crew breaks down whether or not Christians should really be engaged in these beliefs and practices.

In this episode, we tackle the topic of forgiveness. As Christians we are taught that forgiveness should be a virtue that we practice in our lives. In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus teaches that if we forgive those who sin against us, God will forgive us, but if we don’t forgive others God will not forgive our sins. We know that it is a necessary thing to do for believers, but it is often easier said than done. So, the TASM crew wants to encourage you and share how we have navigated forgiveness and what we have learned about it.

We Are Women in Ministry Pt 2

Tuesday Mar 26, 2024

Tuesday Mar 26, 2024

**This episode is part 2 of our special Women in Ministry discussion.**
In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to celebrate by having our first All Women episode! We invited some of our women ministers to join us and are excited to get to spend time with them and hear their stories in this two-part episode. Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate women's contributions to history, culture, and society. Each woman on today’s episode has and is still making contributions to our local body of believers and beyond in ministry. Unfortunately, there are some Christians who don’t believe women should hold leadership positions in church. We wanted to dive into what the bible has to say about the topic and hear how each of these amazing women have overcome challenges of being a woman in ministry.
