In America, mass incarceration has become a defining challenge, with the U.S. leading the world in the number of people behind bars. According to the latest report from the Prison Policy Initiative, nearly 1.9 million people are incarcerated in the U.S., with additional millions on parole or probation. 
But what does this mean from a faith perspective? As believers, we hold that God’s plan of salvation reaches beyond prison walls, extending to those whom society has often overlooked. 
Today, we're honored to be joined by a remarkable guest who brings deep insight into this crucial conversation. Rev. Dr. Burton Barr, Jr., a seasoned minister and advocate for prison reform, will share his experiences and perspectives. With a career dedicated to outreach, evangelism, and prison ministry, Rev. Barr has made significant strides in addressing the needs of those in the criminal justice system. He’s also the author of several influential books, including the best-seller "The Hoodlum Preacher," which is being adapted into a film.

Housing is a fundamental human right, yet for many people, securing and maintaining stable housing remains a significant challenge. Join us as we delve into the pressing issues of housing uncertainty and homelessness with Sarah Galloway, and uncover how her work is making a meaningful impact in the fight for housing justice.  
Sarah Galloway is a Missouri attorney based in University City, St. Louis, where she’s lived for 12 years. With a background in family law, she now focuses on housing and consumer law, advocating for individuals over corporations. Sarah also works on policy changes to enhance tenants' rights and housing justice. She holds degrees from the University of Kentucky and Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, reflecting her deep commitment to her work and community.
